maltadefender
Hi all, I think that Vajello's Olive Drab looks rather splendid when used by T-Tango as PC10 on his RFC biplanes, but I'm nervous about buying it as it seems to be specially concocted for airbrushes. Can a hairy stick merchant like me use it? Or am I better off with Xtracolor?
Peter Marshall
You can brush Model Air but I wouldn't recommend it - it's a bit to thin, so it can take a few coats. However Model Colour is lovely to brush - just add some water to thin it as it's normally too thick out of the bottle.
charley420
i use both the model colour and the model air ranges and have found that some colours in the air range work well with a normal brush like silvers etc but cammo greens tend to be rather streaky and dont cover well. but im pretty sure that the model air range is just pre thinned versions of the standard range. Hi malta, just to warn you, my Vallejo Olive Drab, I mix it myself using Vallejo Olive Drab and Vallejo Tank Brown, because I find that the straight Olive Drab is too green, it is more for the American Olive Drab and early RFC Olive Drab, where the later RFC Olive Drab is a more brown colour. HTH My God there are a lot of Olive Drabs in this reply. Cheers Pete
