Lovely David, very nice job.

I really like Mike 'Hawks, just behind my computer there is a rather nice one from VMA-131 lurking...I might have to start another one now that my three (C and 2Es) are nearly finished.

Very nice scooter David!

But you were taking a chance balancing it on the balcony that way...

I had my mig 15 blown overboard that way, and never again found the canopy down in the needlebrushes....

:shithappens:

always love scooters..

Very nice David - what's going on with the marks on the drop tanks though?

Thanks all!

Most reference pics I've found show drop tanks that were pretty messy. This was the case on most US Jets of the era, and I attempted to achieve a similar look. I like heavily weathered models as it is... Just looks better to my eye.

Excellent work Dave!! Will that Scooter make it down to the Antelope Valley Show next weekend?

Mike

Actually I hadn't heard anything about a show next weekend. PM me some details? I might try to go....

Thanks to all for the very kind responses!!

Now I have to get back on that Phantom that's staring at me from the bench.
