jamboseven
Guys, watching Front Line Battle Machines and just saw the GMLRS with the Bar armour. Got me thinking I quite like that.. So who does a kit of the MLRS in 1/35? Jambo
Mike
Dragon do/did. it's not one of their newest, evidenced by the boxart still saying "Shanghai Dragon", but AFAIK it's the only one in that scale. It's worthwhile getting the Eduard etch sets for, and pick up some Fruil tracks from the Bradley, which will fit. I can't quite remember whether it's the Bigfoot tracks or the older ones. best you check

Mike
I wonder if anyone's produced a bar-armour set for the Dragon kit yet? I wonder why they only put it on the cab? Surely if the missile box takes an RPG, there'll be a rather large explosion to cope with, unless they don't travel with rounds onboard?

Wouldn't expect that bar amour to help much with that Bang, would you? Looks cool though!

Stebos
Revell also do a rebox of the DML kit, can be found under the 'MARS' title. It has an extra sprue of parts for the German version (side skirts etc). OOP so can be hard to track down.
pte1643
I wonder why they only put it on the cab? Possibly wouldn't be able to "Swing" the rocket launcher open if it were covered all round.
Romeo Alpha Yankee
Be aware that the German Army version does not have separate launch canisters. The US Army one does. So if you want to pose it in a diorama withthe launch canisters being replaced the US Army boxing is the one you want.

Graham T
I remember building the Dragon kit a few years back & thinking that the Dragon designer obviously never tried building the monster he'd created.
