Deacon
Nice choice, I hadn't even heard of this aircraft, let alone knew there was a kit of one! Deacon.
Touvdal
Going to a fast build only 25 parts, very simpel. Strange looking airplane, and not very sucessful, so the where given to the Polish volonters. cheers Jes
Killingholme
nice choice- but certainly not one of Heller's better kits. I have one in the stash with the intention of building a Finnish aircaft (one of which, amazingly, survives to this day). The Finns must have been very upset when they realised what they'd got! Good luck with the build. What you've got in mind for the build? Will

Savenosouls
I have one of these in the stash - recently obtained from ebay for less than the cost of a new Airfix Kit!! Will be interested to see how you get on. Might put a pilot in it though. Edited December 2, 2010 by Savenosouls
Deon
cant remember if this kit needs a rear bulkhead, I seem to remember building one of these, didnt have too much trouble with it, quite a nice little kit. Should look pretty in the french camo, best of luck Edited December 13, 2010 by Deon
Killingholme
cant remember if this kit needs a rear bulkhead, Yes, the area behind the pilots seat was filled-in in a way that looks quite similar to the rear cockpit of the Curtiss P40. The preserved Finnish example clearly shows this. There is a superb walkaround of this aircraft at http://z15.invisionfree.com/72nd_Aircraft/...p?showtopic=425 Shame the Heller kit is rubbish! Will hi well, the shapes are right, so what do you expect from the early 70's? For those interested here a build showing what can be done with some modelling skills, or as the review says The Heller kit is typical of the first wave of Heller models produced in the early ‘70’s in the manly and correct scale of 1/72. Well molded for their time, with rich detail on the outside, but lacking in interior detail, the Heller kits can be turned into excellent replicas by those who still remember how to experience the fun of modeling by adding their own skill to a good, but basic kit. http://modelingmadness.com/reviews/allies/fr/draper714.htm cheers T
