Max Headroom
Quick question folks. I work in Liverpool city centre and whilst in the office this afternoon I heard an unfamiliar noise.Walking over to the window I noticed an AH 64D Longbow slowly moving past running south east parallel to the Mersey. To me this is unique and am wondering if anyone has any knowledge as to what it was doing there? Over to you. Trevor
Andy K
That would explain the unfamiliar engine noise over my house this afternoon. I did'nt see it but I heard it ok. Dammit... Flying parallel with the river I would imagine it was just transiting through the LPL zone, probably heading out toward Chester. Taking a wild guess I'd say it was en-route from RAF Valley to RAF Dishforth

Yellow07
Most likely finally solving that chav problem... seriously, maybe another 'freedom of the city' parade? Similar happened a while back in Bury St Edmunds, the TA center there is home ot a AAC TA unit, one actually landed there too. Or indeed, Andy's suspicions sounds firm

Or indeed, Andy's suspicions sounds firm i may have seen the one around bury st edmunds earlier this year, i was in risby at the time when an AH64 was flying along the road at not much more that tree height, funny thing is it turned right to follow another road too, wonder if they were using tomtom in the cockpit! davidelvy
One flew over our house about a month ago. Actually I have noticed far more military helicopters about than I usually see.
