Shar2 Posted October 24, 2010 Author Posted October 24, 2010 That looks fantastic. I can't get to my airbrush right now so I'm yet to commence with trials for alcladding but your experience sounds inspiring.I really hope this isn't a silly question, but did the model need any 'front-wing' weighting - I take it it's not a natural tailsitter? Yes it did weight in the "nose". The intrsuctions actually state to put in 15g so I put around 20-25g at the sides of the cockpit section.
Alan P Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Brilliant! An Alclad monster for your collection! Al
Stebos Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 This one came out rather spiffing! I like the tonal variation you got there.

I'm pleased with it, especially as I said earlier it's the first time I've used Alclad. If I build another I will spend more time with the filling and sanding as it's not perfect when up close.
