Rémi
This my last kit: An Armstrong Whithworth Albermale It's a 1/72 Valom kit Valom propose two version of this aircraft - the medium bomber - the glider towing I choose the medium bomber version. The only problem of this kit is the canopy that not fit properly. Even if the time consomption for his construction is important (it is a short run kit) due to test fitting, finaly the result is very great. Thanks to Valom for offer this unusual plane

Lightningboy2000
Lovely to see this rare beast given some limelight. Superb build & looks like a cross between a Beaufort & a Mitchell! Martin
pigsty
That's a relief - looks as though it is possible to make a decent model out of a Valom Albemarle!
stevehnz
I've always like the Albemarle, sort of brit B-25 look about it, though it wasn't near so good. I'd also said it didn't fit what I liked to model & I couldn't afford it. Now I've seen this though,Hmmmm.... Nice bit of modelling. Steve. Hypnobear
Thats really nice, I think the Albermarle looks like a great aircraft. Id like to get one to go with my British WW2 aircraft, but at £30.....

Rémi
Hi Rémi,too bad for the canopy, but the rest is excellent. Congrats, Cheers, Manu. Yes the canopy is the problem in this kit . And I did not succeed in adjusting it There are some problems in assembly of the tails, the cockpit and the main gear. But they can be fixed easely If you wish to see some assembly pics. http://lacitroenbx19gt.com/maquette/albemarle/montage/ Edited October 2, 2010 by Rémi

Nico Teunissen
hello, Did one myself a few years ago, and acknowledge it's NOT an easy kit, but certainly worth the effort. I did mine as a glider tug, cause as such they were used over Arnhem. My model is now in a cabinet at a local aircraft museum in the glider section. cropredy
Rémi -- Your pictures were a great source of inspiration for my own build. Albemarle Mk I 036 Port Rear Closeup by cropredy-sfdc, on Flickr I blogged the whole build history (after the fact) where I suspect you will be reminded of some of your own construction challenges. Rodders154
A subject crying out for a major manufacture to do. Lovely build but like others have said pity about the fit of the canopy but your skill has made it not obvious Rodders
