Siggi, thought I had seen it before, looking at the second link, Paul from Little Cars supplied it, I then realised it was on this site I have seen it, thought if I ever get some metal tracks i would try it :) Thanks for the reminder Jim :)

It just looks like someone's sprayed it with Vallejo Tracks Primer to me - I prefer to KISS rather than muck about with potions & incantations :shrug:

I dunno Mike, I have no end of problems with whatever I put on coming off when being handled, fitted to the wheels etc. Something that permanently colours the metal sounds like a good idea, and especially if it also leaves it looking rusty. Soon as I can get LC on the phone I'm going to order some.

I must have missed that thread. Pauls website is being upgraded and I couldn't see it on there, otherwise I'd have got some from him
