Seahawk
Does anyone produce plans for the Beaverette vehicle, to model size? There's a 1/76 4-view drawing of a Standard Beaverette III on page 48 of Airfix Magazine Guide 27: Modelling RAF Vehicles by Gerald Scarborough (PSL, 1978). It looks rudimentary but then the Beaverette was a pretty rudimentary vehicle. No suggestions on how to build one are provided. There's also a nice front/LHS shot of one on page 147 of B T White's "British Tanks and Fighting Vehicles 1914-1945" (Ian Allen, 1970). HTH. Mike Starmer
Does anyone produce plans for the Beaverette vehicle, to model size? If you are looking for a 1/76 model then Bull Models in Kent have a resin kit for the Mk.I /II with some metal parts. Builds up well but you have to plan your interior paintwork because you won't be able to get at it when its built.
p-26luvr
A friend has supplied me with a set of plans that I can use to make a scratchbuilt model from. Thank you all for your help. Carl T
cropredy
My comparison of kits to plans can be found here (I looked at Mk I/II as well as Mk III)
HP42
Sergeants Mess produces a 1:72 scale version in white metal. I bought one last year at Telford. It's a tad crude but builds into a sweet little model. http://www.sgtsmess.co.uk/vehicles/wwii-vehicles/british-vehicles/bv3-qa-beaverette-mk-2.html
