rowmk9 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 Airfix 1/72 Spitfire - quite simply a modelling classic
daz greenwood Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 (edited) Ok one of mine, and my only BoB build (so far). I'm not happy with this build, and will be re-doing it in the future (even if it is a Spitfire). Edited September 14, 2010 by daz greenwood
FZ6 Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 This is my Hurricane 1 I built as part of the Hurricane Group build over on Aifix Tribute Forum a few years ago. The kit is the venerable Airfix 1:48 Hurricane 1 Apart from some minor detailing, rescribing and a vac formed canopy the kit is from the box. I wanted the model to represent one of Gleeds wingmen so I could do a diorama with this aircraft and Gleeds but I've not got round to it yet. The squadron codes are painted on and in hindsight I think they are a little too dark but this is something I might change in the future.
maltadefender Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 (edited) As I'm sitting here doing a few odds and sods the sun's come out and hit my display case amidships. Not really inspirational builds, just my BoB GB collection in the sun! Edited October 8, 2010 by maltadefender
