eng Posted September 5, 2010 Share Posted September 5, 2010 Went down to see my parents in Largs last weekend, and to coincide with the opening displays of the Largs Viking Festival. Not quite as exciting as last years Typhoon display (some may disagree!) but this year saw a replica SE.5a and a Scottish Aviation Bulldog, the RFA Largs Bay was anchored off Millport for a few days as well. My pic's are not brilliant as it was quite overcast and the sun was almost directly in front of us. The SE.5a pulled off a couple of lovely low and close passes but my camera skills weren't quite up to portraying this! RFA Largs Bay SE.5a - this pulled off a lovely and quite spirited display in blustery conditions much to my surprise! S.A Bulldog - a nice display but not quite as eye catching as the SE.5a, Caught this on way back home as well, a flyer of the feathered variety!! - Comments welcome all round, Eng Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
