NickParker
Absolutely superb, these cold war russian beast's certainly have something of the sci fi about them, Almost a Jerry Anderson take on futuristic, Nick
kev67
I like the detail that you added to your models, I have the "Coot" can not remember if its Il 18 or something like that but being aware its mistakes I think it will make up a nice model
general melchett
Thanks again fellas, these cold war russian beast's certainly have something of the sci fi about them, Almost a Jerry Anderson take on futuristic, goodjob.gif Nick, very true...if you think that then I'm pretty sure you'll like something else I have on the workbench at the moment !! Thanks Kev, I have an IL-38 May in the stash and I agree they make up into great models, but as you say I think this and the Il-18 have issues with their noses,.........just go and build it!! Cure!! Not mine but a nice reference build all the same. Andy

general melchett
Ah ha... No, you haven't youngen (how's that ?)..................it's currently having its intakes fettled and smashed into shape...(all your fault...the more I look at your drawings the more I can find wrong with the kit !!), as well as the vac canopies trimmed to fit,(short back and sides) You won't like it anyway................it's covered in warts, ruddy great bulges and strange, long, pointy things and to make matters worse it'll be sploshed all over in camouflage!!! Hate to mention it Chris but some young scally has nicked yer avatar!! Edited August 31, 2010 by general melchett
kev67
I have various pics of the Coot in a very rough looking paint job it seems the paint has been rubbed back to allow another colour to show through, I might do that scheme when I get round to it
