Heritage Aviation Lightning F3 Conversion

Heres my Heritage 1:24 lightning F6 converted to F3

I added lots of car body filler to the top and the bottom to get the correct profile

Used a balsa plug for the tank shape and covered it with filler and then had a massive sanding session in the garden

Sprayed with Tamiya ts17 gloss silver and humbroll 19 bright red

Decals are custom made by BMs Paul Parkes All roundels,serials,cheverons and fin checks

Firestreak missiles were made from 8mm dowel rod and plastic

what I want to know is this -

do they actually fly, and if not, why not?
