Nitrogen / Oxygen Trolley

I am going to have a go at building the current type of trolley used by the RAF / RN which replaced the old 'stacked' style during the mid 1990's (the ones produced by Flightpath). I took a few photos at a recent airshow but neglected to bring a tape measure with me (fancy forgetting my tape measure!). I was going to use the gas cylinders from an old PP/Flightpath set but wondered if they were the same size. Even better, is there anyone out there with some dimensions for one of these trolleys?

o2 cyliners are a international standard size weather they be aviation or medical they are maintained by BOC mostly for the NHS check out there website it should have the sizes on them failing that i have details in the loft somewhere from my aeromed courses at lynham

From what I recall, the 'new', bottles were shorter and possibly slightly fatter.

sorry what i ment was there are many types and sizes but they are all standard the ones in the picture are 120ltr i think (off the top of my head) there are also shorter and fatter ones

They certainly look smaller than the old type. I think I will take a tape measure to the next Northolt nightshoot!

I'll take my tape measure in to work tomorrow and get measurements of the one's we have in the Hangar
