Lightningboy2000
Wow! Spine tingling stuff went well with the soundtrack. This reminded me of a BBC documentary that was on roughly around the time of their projected retirement, but can't remember if it was before or after the 1991 Gulf War. Would like to get hold of a copy. Must start doing the model building again & start on that Bucc group build!

Scarlet
Superb stuff. I've got the video 'Buccaneer-Last British Bomber' somewhere, same great flying sequences in it. I witnessed a flypast like the one in the vid at a Valley wings day about 1990. 100ft cloudbase cancelled all the displays until over the tannoy they announced 'Buccaneer flypast 2minutes'. 4 Buccs came in under the cloud flying down runway 01/19 below the height of pan lights, lifted up over the railway line and dissapeared into the cloud. Only one word sprang to mind - wow!.
XL929
Fantastic video, really REALLY low! This one came up on the right hand side of the page as a suggested video and was rather interesting, an old RAF film from the 70s by the look of it. Some nice shots of HMS Kent in it as well, shame the buccs 'destroyed' it! Swear I've never seen practice bombs grow into missiles though, perhaps it was the heat at Gib?!? geedubelyer
YOU BEAUTY!!!!! Get in there Gave me goosebumps watching that. How low can you go? I'm reminded of an article on the local news station one evening in the late 70s, early 80s maybe. The RAF were participating in Red Flag over the desert near Nellis and the article detailed the low flying of the RAF pilots. The film showed a pair of Bricks flying toward the camera low over the dunes, weaving from one side to the other at very low level with the US AtoG missile guys trying to track them as they approached. In the end, they just gave up then whooped and shouted as the Buccs blasted past, fast and low over their heads........made me feel proud to be British Thanks for sharing this vid Spike, just made my night

Shaun
Most of the good shots used in this You tube vid are from a VHS tape called "Farewell Bucc". Videoage productions followed the Bucc's around in the final year of service and filmed some great action. If you get the chance pick up a copy, get it Well worth digging the old VHS player out of storage! The same production team also produced "Jaguar Force" again another great tape from a time when the RAF had intresting jets on the line. Shaun.
