Antoine
Hello there! Got an haseg 1/48 tiffie in my stash, and I'd like to build it as Johnnie Baldwin PD521. I'd like too... But if I know how to find a tempest tailplane, I don't know about a four-bladed prop... Seems to me that there's another haseg boxing with this prop, but is it the only solution? If so, I'll search another option, most certainly MM987, far less attractive IMO.
pigsty
There are, I think, eight boxings of the Hasegawa Typhoon; five have the three-blade propeller and three have the four-blade, and none contains both. One solution might to approach a webstore like Rainbow Ten - they sell odd sprues and may have a four-blade in stock that would save you buying an entire kit. Kit 09862 marked as "No 198 Squadron" I think it was the last release of the kit. You'd still need the bigger tailplanes. I've got some from Airwaves along with a Normandy intake for when I get round to it. Stuart Wilson
brewerjerry
Hi Maybe browse e bay,I recently got two resin tailplane sets cheap, I had to wait a few months before they came up tho. Likewise there are usually some cheap monogram kits that could be a donor. cheers Jerry Edited August 4, 2010 by brewerjerry
Calum
I have an old hasegawa kit which I've built as Desmond Scotts DJS. it has a 4 blade prop when it should have a 3 bladed prop. I want to rebuild it one day with the correct prop and do a better job. Does anyone do a 3 blade prop?
