487 Squadron Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 Some of my recently applied decals are lifting around the edges, especially where they have been cut around removable panels etc. They are also curling back a little. I intend to spray a clear coat over the entire model, but do I need to glue the decals down first? Will an Acrylic clear coat cause them to 'shrivel', or will the clear coat alone likely be enough to stick them down? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes it does, I bought some in Pak & Save in Richmond just a week or so back, about $9.00 I'll check it out, I'm sure they still have it. It was the clear Klear by the way not the white stiuff that it seems to have become in the nothern half. Seems like it should be available OK, the local Johnsons website still has it.
