alex
Hello, I eventually managed to finish the Jaguar in time! It's built strictly out of the box, except: - added some bits and things in the cockpit (especially the RWR) - bangseat from Pavla - added some boxes in the nose wheel bay to hide some holes - opened the upper side of the nose wheel leg - opened the gun port and vents - opened the main gear bay to the front, added some gear bay walls - detailled the main gear leg (brake lines, replaced the shock absorber) - moved the belly pylon 4.5mm - replaced the awful cluster bombs from the kit - moved the ventral fins to the correct position - shortened the fuel tank, removed the fins - detailed the exhausts - moved the chaff/flare laucher - replaced the LRMTS-nose with some clear sprue - modified the air brakes - some general rescribing of panel lines, especially in the cockpit region (AAR-probe) - decals from Model Alliance... So you see, it's an almost perfect and well researched kit... (Well, the AN/ALQ-101 and the AIM-9 do look nice...) Thanks to all of you for the tips and hints, and especially to Andy, who sent me the detailed plans!! Alex

Enzo the Magnificent
Very nice indeed. The muck and the chipping is very realistic, especially on the nose of the tank.
