Concorde BA G-BOAD 1/144

Recommended Posts

Hi guys!

I'm new to the forum. I came here on the search for some PEPSI decals of my next Concorde model (and yes, I already found the thread) ;)

This is my very first model aircraft which I finished last week. It's a Concorde in 1/144 by Revell. Actually, I wanted to build the Air France Concorde of Sinsheim, Germany where I've been this summer but there were no Air France decals inside the package :( ... so I just build the New Yorker Concorde :D

I read the topic about the free picture hosts ... yes ... I got my own web-server and I installed a picture gallery. But I guess, my photos are a bit too large for the board ;)

So please take a look at > the G-BOAD gallery if you want.

greetings

Michael from Germany

PS: Thanks guys for this great board!

thanks =)

well ... I'm a beginner ... I guess, I'll buy some paint brush set soon :D

The color wasn't thin enough as my Father told me later. He's a model aircraft builder for more than 30 years.

Hi Micha, Great looking model there.

Modellers are going to tell you that white is one of the most difficult colours to paint - especially with a brush.

A little tip here - white appliance white acrylic aerosol from Halford car spares store. You've probably got equivalents in Berlin:

And here are Concordes that I've built with that white paint

As you can see - no Air France

So I should still have those left over - if you build another Concorde.

thanks for all the praise =)

And thanks for the tip of the white spray!

At the moment I'm building an old Interflug IL-62 in 1/100. I hope, this plane will look a bit better when it's finished ;)

But the next Concorde has already started :D
