OzH
Calling this one done, was almost there when "new evidence" turned up, so some re-work was carried out This is Tamiya's F.3 Meteor, updated to represent EE337 when she was used for aircraft carrier deck landing trials. kitnut617
Very nice and definitely looks the part -- Only one small comment I would make though, I don't think it would have been NMF, painted silver maybe ??? and it looks like it was EE387 EDIT: D'oh! -- just checked the history listing in Air-Britain' Aeromilitaria (who just happen to have a running article on all the single-seat Meteors), and I find it was both EE337 and EE387 which were used for deck trials. goon
I like that a lot. The carrier deck base provides a nice context for it. I've got a soft spot for that kit as it was my first 1/48 build after starting up again, and it was a totally enjoyable kit. Nice to see some do something different with it.
