Me and the missus will be going on Sunday and Monday. Flying in by chopper on Sunday to avoid the queues!

As for photography, I'll be concentrating mainly on the flying as photographing the static at Waddo is usually quite challenging!

Regards.

Graham

Me and the lad will be there Saturday - we have seats in the “Hurricane” stand. I’m looking forward to a good mix of modern stuff, warbirds and “civils” (personally, I always find The Blades are a highlight). When we lived darn sarf, Duxford shows were always must-visits, twice a year, and in the past I’ve thought that Waddo lacked a bit on the warbird front, but this year it looks pretty good. In the end, though, the planes are fun, but it’s mostly about a good day out with small son, who’s not so small any more... and may one day soon rather hang out with his friends than his old man, so I’m enjoying it while I can!

bestest,

M.

Going on the Sunday, weather not looking great so far but still time for the forecast to change. Shame as it was nice weather last year. Was first time at Waddo last year and am looking forward to it this year.

Hoping for the good weather to continue though as going to Riat and Farnborough the following weeks after to.

I have no choice on the matter I'll be there both days. Setting up tomorrow packing up Monday.

Come and see our Lancaster Recovery Display in the North End of 5 Hangar. If I'm about its always nice to put names to faces.

My fiancée and I are going on the Sunday. We really had a good time last year dispute the lack of fast jets and a certain tin triangle. This year I will remember to bring a hat and our own flask of Pimms and lemonade rather than being mugged for £5 a glass. And finally I'll remember to go round the large aircraft static park!

XH558 took off from Lyneham about 20 minutes ago, in case that sways anyone's decision on going to Waddington........

Cheers,

Bill.

as i understand it she's going to brize, and has to do 4 'displays' before she can be signed off to do public displays, so we shall wait and see

I only WISH I could

It looks like it's going to be a GREAT show

I made it to the last three shows

unfortunately, however, I can't make it back to the UK for it this year

I'm stuck with the extremely CRAPPY shows that they have over here in the states (which I won't go to anymore because they peg out on the Suck-O-Meter)

I found that the weather on Waddo's arrivals day was always the best

Hope you have fun!

Take lots of pics!

Cheers

John

The last time I went in the mid '90s I found it excruciatingly poor.

Marty...

My attitude is the way things are going in the world,is to just go and enjoy.

In the future I might have to give shows a miss or in the case of Cosford it might be no show at all.

I'm going on Friday and Monday for the Arrival and Departure days and I'm just looking forward to getting good shots although I might be a bit short on Memory as my storage devicee has now packed up and the extra Memory cards haven't arrived.

Yup, I'll be there Saturday, first time at waddo by myself for over a decade, the missus has work commitments (Ha! no stoopid craft marquee's for me!!) Athough after a screw up a year or two ago over helo pleasure fights the missus fronted up to the Station Commander saying 'It's just not good enough!' in loud and agessive tones!! Cringe city for me thinking this isn't going to end well, he refered her to his Ukrainian PA?? A week later she got an official apology in the post!
