Paul @ Parkes682Decals Posted June 14, 2010 Share Posted June 14, 2010 (edited) Hi All Here's some photo's of the Display case in the West Midland's Police Air Support HQ Hanger The display case is directly in front of the entrance of there new hanger,it's the first thing you see when visiting the Head Quarters The two models i have built for them showing the history of the West Midland Police Air Support since its creation in 1994. The bottom one is Aerospatiale AS355F from 1994,the second one up is a Mcdonnell Douglas MD902 Explorer. The third one up is the Eurocopter EC-135 P2 that was sadly burnt out by an arsonist last year,the top on is a wooden model EC-135 P2 the same as the Explorer (you get one of these when you buy the real thing from the manufacturer's) The New EC-135 P2+ arrives late July. I've always said that if I had'nt joined the RAF,I'd have joined the West Mids Police. Spike snap out of it......... it would have been a severe drop in your status......... The crews at the Air Support love the display,they get a lot of visitors both Police and from the public and it just has you walk in the HQ doors. While i was there on Sunday night, one of the Airport Fire Team's came over to have a look while passing by the new hanger.
