Happy Birthday Dave 🎂🥃

Thanks chaps... 50 years today, however still think I model like a 10 year old at times! Appreciate the sentiments.
Cheers.. Dave (1/48 Tiggy and Hunter recipient).

:hmmm: that might not be true.

Know how I knew?  There's a little birthday cake icon next to your name.  Clever eh? ^_^

Well yesterday was my last day in the 50s, today I reach the sunny uplands of 60 years old which is something I struggle to believe - except first thing in the morning when the bones creak!

The inner teenager in me is shocked and disgusted to find itself clocking up this mileage and refuses to accept it so I shall continue to grow old disgracefully!

The is a bottle of champagne in the fridge I was give by my company a couple years back when I won and award so I think now is the time to crack that open and I picked up a nice juicy looking rib eye steak for my dinner later, so champers and steak dahling, what more could one ask for!

Happy belated 60th, passed that mile post a few years back, although it doesn't seem long ago. When I was young, time seemed to stand still, I sometimes wish it at least slowed down occasionally.

67 today, when I was born on 1954, the Swift was just starting its very brief career as a fighter with 56 Squadron, the Spitfire and Hornet were still in squadron service and Lancasters were still flying with the School of Maritime Reconnaissance. Butter came off ration the month after I was born.

So here I am trying to work out with a brain that still thinks its 25 why I have a body of a 50 year old (well I can wish) and a state pension. Still got a birthday cake to look forward to.😊🍻🎂😋🎁
