thx6667
Bought an aviation book from amazon.co.uk the other week, not only was it cheaper than ordering from a specialist bookseller, but the latter was going to take a week to purely process my order - Amazon had the book in my hands in less than 48 hours and that wasn't even special delivery. Total cost less than the cover price, excellent service.

Paul Bradley
Who is James Blunt, and tell me why I need to care? ABE Books and Barnes and Noble also offer good second hand book services. There are some funky prices being asked for some books, but no-one is forcing you to buy them! If they are too rich for your wallet, then don't buy it. I have been after a copy of the Ken Delve Canberra book forever, but not at the funny money being asked for by some of these online merchants! Mike
First we had Britpop, then came whingepop... James Blunt, Travis, Cold Play* & all those other soul sucking, moaning whiners out there... * I'm gonna take some stick for this as their song craft is very good, but they are rather whiney & depressing. dylan the rabbit
James Blunt? Moaning again about Amazon, it seems that I couldn't order from them even if I wanted to. For some reason, they don't deliver to the UAE... I looked at Abebooks for a couple of light reads, and could someone explain why the same merchant could deliver the book to me if I lived in England within 5 days, but, taking the same book, to the same post office, and sending it to the UAE would take anywhere between 30-60 working days? Odd.. Nick
