Pilgrim_UK
I was thinking about how folk make scratch builds of science fiction but very little story behind them. If we had a story behind each scratch then would this help folk in building a model? It would be a nice touch i think. A few points for any story: The protaginists ( human vs Alien, human versus human, human/alien versus unknown) The reason for the war ( Resources, Idealogy, Honour) Where is the war(local or galaxy wide or have a galaxy wide battle focused on a local planet) Have it real (collateral damage does happen) or hollywood ( collateral doesnt happen) A timeline for technology ( so folk can build piston engine fighters at the start of war and folk can build jets farther on) Types/rules of technology (anything goes here, build tanks, gundams, planes, spaceships) Heroes and villains ( You gotta have a Han solo or Darth vader type) I will run up a few paragraphs for the points above but at the moment i would like any feedback if anybody would interested in this. Issues that might occur: copyright ( tough one this make it open source?) disagreement of opinions( use a voting system) lack of interest ( ohh no) Just an idea that has been floating in my empty head.
