Merv,

Considering the kit and decals are a reet pain in the bottom, youve done a superb job my friend :worthy:

Thanks,

I did'nt add enough noseweight so it's a tailsitter! Thankfully Airfix included a prop for this which I painted yellow to replicate a bit of ground support kit.The BOZ pods were replaced by ones from the Italeria Tornado & the seat is from the Airfix Lightning.

The whip airial is plastic fishing line fitted by drilling a hole in the fin & fixing with superglue gel, smoothed & painted, the other end I cut off the airial stalk, glued the line in place then cut to length.

Nav's windows are'nt filled in yet as I need some of that clearfix & I'm not happy with the wingtip lights, they are thinner than the wing by about .5mm.Other than that,

Nice straight forward build to get me back into modelling.

Basic,

I never use the instructions apart from a rough guide to where things go,the are a lot of things included in the PR9 kit for example that are not used or according to the instruction,go in the wrong place.

IE,It tells you to fit the drop tanks on the wings when every bit of research shows they are'nt fitted.
