Giorgio N
Printing yor own decals can be very satisying but it's also guaranteed to let you spend time inventing a new whole range of obscene words to vent the frustration ! Frst of all you have to check what you want to print and verify you can do it. White can't be printed unless you have an Alps printer. Colours like yellow can be printed, but if you print yellow on a clear sheet and then apply your decal on a dark colour, your yellow will disappear.. and the same is true for light colours in general. That's why both clear and white sheets are useful. Again, Alps printers allow you to do this, but they've been OOP for ages. Software wise I personally use vector drawing softwares. Corel Draw is probably the best and it's of course expensive. There are some freeware and Inkscape is one I use If you scan a sheet then you might need an image procesing software. Photoshop is well known but again expensive. As I have this I never bothered looking for freeware, others will know better. Vector drawing softwares can import and resize images too, so if you have one of this you can still resize. I you need to resize an image and have no dedicated software you can use Power Point: just lay your image on a slide, open the object format window and play with the image size until you have what you need.
