Bedford engine color

Having got the 1 7/2 IBG Bedford QLB, just wondering if anyone knows what color the engine/transmission interior etc. might have been.

Basically the same colour as everything else, khaki green.

Thanks, I guess that will have to do. I was kinda hoping it might be some obscene color for artistic reasons, while still being "correct". I was a bit curious about things as I came across these pics, the first is an old refueler being used as a water hualer, wich still looks to be pretty original and the interior doesn't appar to be the same color as the exterior although that might be some bit thrown in there not belonging to that particular truck, even though that's the way all the restorations have it. And by looking at the frame I would also say it appears that it first got a coat of red primer, then black piant, and then a layer of that khaki green. Just curous if maybe somebody might know a bit more.
