maltadefender
Hi all, I've got an old 1/32 Tiger Moth tucked away for future set dressing on my slot car track. I'd very much like to build her as the silver one from 'The English Patient' (G-AFFC) but I'm struggling for a source - is there such a thing? John
Aeroclub do some, which may or may not be appropriate for your size and colour. Failing that, check out your local art supply shop for Edding dry transfers, which you can either use directly if the colour is what you want or use as a paint mask if it isn't. Failing both those options, check out any local "Sign Shop" type of operation. They will be able to produce self-adhesive vinyl lettering in a vast range of styles and sizes which you can then use as masks. HTH John
Deanflyer
Why not make your own? A simple black set of registrations would be the easiest thing in the world to do - print them the right size on clear decal paper, coat them with liquid decal film and Bob's your uncle. I did all the decals on this Tiger Moth myself, and it was the first attempt at doing so: Even factoring in the cost of the stuff, it'd still work out cheaper than buying a commercial sheet. maltadefender
Deanflyer - I'm officially hopeless at anything like that I'm afraid. Managed to stuff up our wedding CD cover using WHSmith's pack! John - Didn't realise Edding transfers were still around - my Dad used to cover everything in the house with them! Could be onto something there... Thank you both
