Empty weight: 12,500 lb (5,700 kg)

Max takeoff weight: 31,000 lb (14,061 kg) STO

So 18,000lb of bombs and a little spare for fuel if the wings don't snap off.

Almost forgot to say, very nice builds!

(Wikipedia data, probably not far wrong)

Bloody hell, wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of those bombs!

Great builds, both look very nice.

Well I know naff all about what a Harrier can and cant lug around, I can just about tell the basic types apart (apart from Sea Harriers, I like them  ) however I do think IMHO that they are both cracking models and a darn sight better than what I could do :worthy:

Thanks for sharing a pair of great models :thumbsup2:

Where's Merv when you need him? I think he'll confirm what I_M_Weasel has said i.e. that you can hang an awful lot off a Harrier if you're not expecting to VTO.

Main Landing Gear doors tend to be closed when on the ground, though they can be opened, so it's just a point of info.

Nice models though BAC. Looks like those big decals when down OK.

What's that on the port outboard of the GR7?

Nice pair . Love that Shar got stuff to do same scheme on 1:48 Airfix kit. I presume these are both 1.72 tho which makes me sick cos they look great. Are they out of the box?

Thans for the comments!

The kits were all built OOB. The big red triangle decal on the SHAR caused no problems at all. Just make sure you leave the aerial off until the decal is on.

I also don't know anything about Harriers and havn't a clue on how much weight they can take. I just chose the weapons that looked the meanest!

Love the models, great work. wether the load is right or not isn't the issue I like the fact that these Harriers are armed for bear.
