IanC Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Here are my three 1/72 Hurris from some years back. As can be seen I never went in for weathering in those days so they look a bit too clean.. My tribute to Sidney Camm.... Hasegawa Mk I wearing Airfix decals for No. 1 Sqn. Revell Mk IIC intruder with aftermarket decals for No. 87 Sqn's CO. Revell Mk IIB 'hurribomber' in No. 402 Sqn markings. I've toyed with the idea of doing a bit of weathering on them, but maybe I'll just leave well alone and experiment with new kits! Ian 2
Simon G Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Very nice. They look good as they are, maybe best not to take the risk with adding weathering if you are not 100% confident. Si.
keith in the uk Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Lovely . Well built and nicely finished, i like em
daz greenwood Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Nice! I prefer looking at Hurri's rather than Spitfire's *duck's to avoid flak from the Spitfire lover's!
Obi-Jiff Kenobi Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Always nice to see a well-made Hurricane, but three is even better! Obi-Jiff
F-32 Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 Immediately transported back to my first child hood builds! Brilliant work.
IanC Posted May 7, 2010 Author Posted May 7, 2010 Thanks for the comments! Inspired by Angus's Sea Hurricane build here, I've just got hold of a new Airfix MkII to try out. May have it done before the year's out.. Ian

Fmk.6john Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Nice!I prefer looking at Hurri's rather than Spitfire's *duck's to avoid flak from the Spitfire lover's! Now there is a man that talks sense!, BE500 gets my vote. Very nice stuff. JB.
Danny Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Great Hurricanes there Ian! I too think the Hurricane is better looking than the Spitfire The black nightfighter looks the meanest of the bunch! Danny
