487 Squadron
I need to make some small white letters - how can I make them? I've seen white decal paper, but how do / can I colourmatch the surrounding area so that I can print them out 'in reverse', i.e. leave the white showing where letters should be, but reveal them with surrounding paint colour? Richard M
Pretty much, the process is explained well in this recent post; http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47437 Best Rich
Edgar
If you can find rub-down letters, of the right style and size (not easy,) you can undercoat in (must be) matt white, fit the letters, without rubbing down too hard, then spray the top colour. Remove the letters, with a suitable sticky tape, and they're done. That's a Peter Cooke tutorial, not mine. Edgar
