Gary C
Hi guys, The trouble with having too many things on the go is that I tend to lose and forget about stuff. I started this about 18 months ago and had it painted and decalled up as a 20 squadron line jet ( they're just up the road from here at Wittering so I'm a big fan ). I was never very happy with the paintjob though and I finished up stripping it about a year ago and only got as far as repainting the undersides. I found it again back in its box the other day whilst on the hunt for something else and having just got some new MA decals for 20's 04/05 display jet I decided to pick up again and try and get it finished in between the Typhoon and Scooter. Got done with the last of the paint today, just got to finish redoing the cockpit, slap on a gloss coat and then it's on with the decals!!! I added the pylons without really thinking and it made masking the leading edge of the wings to paint the protective coating a bit of a nightmare so I've painted some blank decal paper the appropriate colour and will be decalling them instead. More soon, Gary
Col.
The repaint looks cracking Gary. As someone who's just bought their first airbrush/compressor I'm envious of your talents.
