Starfighter
Just started my Tamiya 1/35 scale Tiger 1 (Early Version), so I thought I'd have a look around the net for any possible colour alternatives to those in the kit. I decided to include the commander figure, , and this is where I hope that some kind soul will be able to help, specifically wih the interior colour of the commander's hatch. Several photos of models would seem to indicate that the inside of the hatch was dark grey, but I would have thoght that this would have been the same ivory/cream colour as the turret interior? The Tamiya instructions only detail the colour of the pad in the centre of the hatch, but not the hatch itself. I would be most grateful if anyone could help me with this, Kind Regards, Starfighter

Andy K
The hatch interior would be the same colour as the exterior.

smuts
Hi , all hatches crew access, engine deck/transmission would be the exterior colour (base) of the hull/turret either Panzer grey or dark yellow, this applies to open fighting compartments such as Marder's ,SP guns & semi tracks. HTH Andy.
