New release of Academy's Grant....

On the Academy Website for 2nd Quarter releases is a reissue of the Grant as an 'El Alamein' vehicle with the Miniart 'British Tank Crew' and the suspension sprues from the M7 Priest kit to correct that 'orrible, unbuildable, fatal flaw of having too tall bogies....(sarcasm ok....)

There may also be 'other new parts' included - though I am unsure if that refers to the crew or additional kit and maybe corrections?

This is the boxart for the figs THAT ARE SHOWN on Academy's website

But now that I look at these figs wouldn't these be more apt for outside of Caen as opposed to El Alamein?

I'll definitely be getting this! Its not a bad kit at all, and with the corrected bogies and a little tlc it can be great

As for the crew, I'm sure theyll find a home on something else for me

Have a look at the crew box art though. That bloke with his hand on the barrel must be strong, if you look at the 'suggestion' of a barrel he's bent it with his hand
