CornishRebel
Decided to start today, as wifey is out for the day... Here's my entry... As you can see..kitchen table.etc. but only 4 paints...not fair!! I'd also forgotten how cute these kits can be...loads of rivets!! What I wouldn't give to be allowed filler, primer, plastic weld and my airbrush!! The obligatory sprue shots... Stand by for sticky fingerprints and mess.... CornishRebel
here's some more of the photos and the finished article... Decided to skip the (non-existant) interior and use a tip from my late father...painted interior black. Good old rubber bands and tape... No real problems with the paints adhering...maybe i was lucky? A brown/black mix for the exhausts and dry-brushed for some other staining... The (approximate) Azure Blue underside...LOL!! Hope you like it.. Phil.

Plastic Bonsai
That's nicely finished. I think you may have been lucky with the painting. I did wash mine but I still had patches where the paint did not want to go on at first. It does make a neat little model. Pity about the squadron codes though..... CornishRebel
Thanks all, for the kind comments. I don't know why the paint went well. I washed the sprues thoroughly, and let them dry. i mixed the paints well. they seemed to 'pull away' in a couple of places, but a second coat seemed to get rid of the bald spots. i didn't thin the paint at all. used it straight from the little pots. Cheers, Phil.
