Antoine
Ladies and gentlemen! I have the pleasure to introduce you to (Drums): AMX-30B hull number 604-0055 "Dantzig" 3rd tank from 4th platoon, 2nd squadron, 2nd Dragoon Regiment. Stuck in a mud hole, Mailly-le-camp 1993. My own panzer from 1991 to 1997, when I led it to its destiny, at the scrap dealer hand. I thought this new sub-forum was a good excuse to share the pic with you. Sorry for the bad quality, I didn't have a good camera at the time, and was no better than now at taking pics.

Antoine
I have to confess that during this exercise, controlers told me that my driver was to be considered "killed", and I had to take the sticks. Next was a hailstorm, with no possibilities to see more than one meter ahead (believe me!), terrain was very slippery, and here is the result! When the engine cut, and the water started to flow inside, it took me less than three seconds to get out by the turret's hatch!
Dave
You didn't have to make sure your driver was dead by trying to drown him!

Antoine
I still love them! Sadly, this one has been long ago cut to pieces by some scrap metal dealer's blowtorch...
