Nigel Bunker
Does any manufacturer make the nose for this variant in resin?? I have the side pods from Spectre Resins to convert my KC-135R but unless somebody makes the nose, looks like it's down to plastic card and milliput. I have spoken with Mark ar Spectre and he has no plans to make a resin nose.
Haydn
Ay up Nigel, You don't need the hog nose for the RC-135U. Cheers, Haydn.

Romeo Alpha Yankee
..though you need to add the scoop underneather the nose. Looks like Spectre Reisin is going to do a U conversion set though from the talk I have seen over on ARC. I have one of the old Maintrack sets that will see the light of day soon. Haydn
These are the key bits from the Maintrack Set (does Whirlybirds have these now ?)...... Cheers, Haydn.
NoVABill
Just remember with the U-Boat: the old "Martin" cheeks, housing antennas, were replaced by the more rounded edge "E-Systems" designed cheeks quite a while back. The old Maintrack conversion, as well as the RC-135V kit from AMT, et.al., have the older Martin cheek design.
Nigel Bunker
Right - I have done some checking and the model I am going to build is RC-135V with CFM-56 engines, which is what I presume the RAF will be getting - if they don't, it will be my biggest What If. So it looks like I will need to make the bigger nose myself.
