Hadn't ever heard of these till someone else started one for the GB. Passing by my local Hobbycraft, I was tempted inside and couldn't help myself.

If noone has any objections, I'd like to enter one for the GB.

One question, the white metal parts are a bit rough - apart from the flashing, do they need much cleaning up - smoothing or the like??

I'll post some piccies eventually if I get the green light from you guys.

To answer myself (the armour group seems to be a bit quiet) I gave it a bit of a sand and polish with my dad's dremel (where has it been all my life?) and a quick enamel undercoat and it looks pretty good. I may give it another fettle and it could do with some filler in places.

I can see how those little kits could become a bit of an obsession. They look seriously cute and easy to build into the bargain and are deceptively affordable. I say deceptive, because it could easily be the case that no trip to Hobbycraft would be complete without the purchase of one or two teeny weeny tankies.

PS - ChrisITA, you wouldn't consider doing an ITA set for one of these, would you? :)
