Well this one is done. I'm happy with the result, as it Simon, who I built it for. I'll have it on display at Yeovilton tomorrow if anyone wants to take a closer look befor it goes to its new home.

Thats on of the best helo builds I have seen period! I hope your mate is suitably impressed. I wish I was going to Yeovilton to see what it looks like for real.

Nice one. :thumbsup::goodjob::worthy:

Oz built this model for me after I put out a request on this site. I would like to thank him for all the time and effort he has put into it over the last 6 months (especially putting up with my constant emails about details) it has been well worth it and I am really pleased with the end result. It now has pride of place in my display cabinet at home. I'm planning on having a model of every aircraft type I have flown in the RN so far. Once again thanks Oz for all the effort you put into this, you can really see the dedication and passion you have for your hobby by the level of detail you have added to this model.

Regards,

Simon

Well done, a great build. I didnt have confidence in the large clear part to open the cockpit doors on mine as its a bit flimsy at the best of times.

Take care with the rotors as they will sag over time. I spoke to Mike Belcher at the Nats and he makes the rotors from a different resin to reduce the droop but they will still sag. Id suggest take a few pics and then fold them up. Here are my 2 Belcher helos folded

Outstanding job! Gutted I missed the Yeovilton show this year, wedding anniversary got in the way - but I'm sure this one was very well received!
