F111Fan
What are the major differences between the Matchbox kit and the Revell re-pop? I imagine the panel lines but anything else? Thanks in advance!

stuartp
Yep, both mouldings are the same, except the Revell one is all the same colour.

The revell sheet is better but the originals are very good also. There is no change to the mouldings

I'd get a Revell one, the plastic's a lot better to work with than the Matchbox one, the green is especially strange!
pigsty
I'd get a Revell one, the plastic's a lot better to work with than the Matchbox one, the green is especially strange! Also it will have all the wheels. I once went through an entire shop's stock of Matchbox Victors looking for one that wasn't missing the same single mainwheel - and failed. OK, it was Trago Mills, but still, someone in Matchbox quality control was having an off day when that batch left the factory. And they must have checked the kits, seaparated out the duff ones, and still sold them en masse for retail instead of recycling them. Oh, the good old days, eh? Just try not to get one of the Chinese mouldings - very strange to work with - greasy, brittle plastic and decals that fall apart in the water!
