Phartycroc, ironically your Pink Floyd signature about needing an education to learn about double-negatives, lacks an apostrophe in the word "don't".

Afraid to say- the Yak WILL be finished in a few days time- , BUT it won't be finished in time for the extended deadline.

My good friend (and all round fantastic person) Osher, has decided to lend me some decals- but with domestics, work, and so on, there is no way it will be finished in time.

However- if the threads aren't locked down at the deadline, I will happily post the pics.

The clock ticks down to closing time

Thank you so much boys and gals it has been an absolute blast!

the gallery looks stunning and if we look the other way we may squeeze in a couple of stragglers.

On a personal note am disappointed not to get at least one build done but the builds in the gallery are so gorgeous. Congratulations to all who have made it in there. Also thank you for the generosity of those who have donated prizes

times up thanks again everyone :worthy:

will start dishing out the rewards

Just to echo what Paul has said, it's been a grand GB. The gallery is full of stonking builds of a wide and varied range of Soviet hardware, so congratulations to those of you who have contributed such fine models to the GB :clap2:

Just a bit gutted I ran out of steam with my own Backfire build :(

Cheers

Shaun :)

I've got an acceptance speech ready and everything.

I'm glad people enjoyed my efforts and I think the hosts should be congratulated for a well run GB.

I'll contact John as I quite like the look of that Mig 15

oh I'll add a M&S Revell Lancaster to my choice of prizes as I have 3 knocking about and i'll never make all 3.

There were some cracking builds in that there gb, many didnt make it to the top 6 but I thought were excellent.. such a high standard. I managed to build a yak55 over the gb but didnt enter it cos its for a mag, just as well though as it would've dragged the quality way down ! :) How about another GB - Soviet aircraft in foreign service -anyone?
