Well the origianal deadline is almost upon us and some gifts are required for those conscientious brothers and sisters of the soviet who have fulfilled their production targets

Jars of pickled cabbage seem inadeqate to celebrate their success

still to figure out what to donut myself, so while i figure it out please list any generous contributions

Prizes to be alloted by a poll- so a rare chance for the words Soviet and Democratic to keep each other company in a sentance.

just thought- we should have spun the GB out until Mayday and so we could have a parade

Miii-iiish? :P

I've got "IL-2 Sturmovik", a video game for the PC, that I'll donate.

The packaging has been opened but it's unused.

For anyone who doesn't know, "IL-2 Sturmovik" is a combat flight

simulator game set on the Russian Front in WW2. There are 31

playable aircraft from USSR, USA and Germany, 2 different

multiplayer modes, and fighter or bomber campaigns ranging

from 1941 to 1945. Good fun, apparently!

nice one- wish i was going to finish in time to be in with a shout! :(

My possible contribution is not as appropriate to the group build but no way am i giving any of you lot my prized TB-2 or I-16's :bleh:

i have an Airfix Hawk 100 which i am considering unless i can think of an alternative

maybe have a Revell 1/72 Me262 i can let go

by the way there is still on offer a free 1/100 Tu 95 bear sans glazing if anyone is interested

Hi,

Not Russian I am afraid but Polish. I can donate a PZL P-7 (1/72 from Mirage Hobby). It comes with Polish, German or Romanian markings - though I had to scrounge one of the Romanian crosses for another build.

Makes dinky little kit, similar to this:

I can donate a WEEAC Seafire FR4.47 Navigator CD or if someone wants something themed I have a duplicate set of Decals

LendLease72.jpg

but I've just used one of the 538's as I screwed the first one up.

takes your pick

Comrades, to atone for the fact that I never finish a group build on time (my 5-year-plan is usually the time it takes me to complete one kit!) I will be happy to donate to the peasants and workers of this group a Trumpeter 1/48th scale MiG-15UTI from the running dog Chinese traitors. I might even be able to find a couple of decadent resin seats.

Za Rodinu!

I'll throw in a 1/72 Hasegawa MiG-29. It's the Romanian Sniper boxing, and has decals for a rather attractive special scheme :)

Should build into something much like this

Wow!

you deserve that beer Gaz

too hard to choose! :frantic:

Yeah, really enjoyed it! Franziskaner Wheat beer- looks cloudy and 'orrible if you're used to ordinary lager, but I'm convinced it is the Nectar of the Gods!

What a choice. I have to say "wow, great job" to everyone who posted in the galleries, but my favourites (no logic, no criticism of anyone else's work, just what I liked best!) were Mal's Yak-1b, Mitchem's Yak-28R, and Smuts's T-34/76. Such a shame I had to choose only 1.

Very difficult . But one build has that little extra X-factor to get my vote...gcn's Spitfire.

Well done to ALL participants.

I hope to see many of you back in the Blitzkrieg GB later this year.

Damn !

To coin the immortal words of Danni Minogue - "It's been one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make."

Absolutely torn, but the silk purse got my vote in the end. (and no, I didn't vote for myself !)
