Dave Fleming
Interesting Snippet on their new newsletter: Besides them, we will also release the Liberator GR.Mk.V and GR.Mk.VI in 1/72nd scale, which will be ex-Minicraft molds with Eduard conversion parts. Obi-Jiff Kenobi
Interesting. I'd be tempted to pick these up, dependent on price. Obi-Jiff
daz greenwood
Hmmmmmmmmm I wonder if they will have the markings for Terence Bulloch's A/C?
Wez
It would be seriously tempting if it contained all the resin bits needed to do a conversion in one box - Pavla do a couple of sets IIRC you need both to do a GR.V. Wez
Jennings Heilig
It perplexes me why they would box the Minicraft kit instead of just doing a nice conversion set for the much superior Hasegawa kit? The Minicraft kits were okay (at best) when they came out, and superior to any existing kits at that time, but even when they came out they were known to have some serious problems. Once you add the cost of the resin and the PE to the package it would become prohibitively expensive. I couldn't/wouldn't justify the expense myself. That's what I think, don't suppose I'm right. Wez Also I reckon I stand a chance of building the Academy/Minicraft kit, looking at the Hasegawa one with its multiple transparent nose parts I just could not see how I would build it without horrific problems with alignment and join lines. The first magazine review I saw certainly had had these problems 'cos there was a huge step where the nose joined. As a result I started my Academy/Pavla GR.V and found the separate nose on the Academy kit (only 2 solid parts to worry about) easily went on. I'm currently stopped for motivational reasons (I like starting projects but not finishing them), even after putting pushrods onto the Quickboost engines I got for it which must be the only tedious bit, Ross

Wez Hi Wez I agree with you . The prices of the Hasegawa Kits are prohibative £38,99 for the 72nd scale B24 Formation boxing and £49.99 for the latest B24J boxing. I think you'd be looking at somewhere near £60-£70 is the hasegawa was used as a basis. Still all we can do is wait and see the price of the Eduard offering.
