silverburn
Stories behind each of these obviously...turns out I like modelling! I'm nowhere near skilled enough with my chunky man fingers to work in anything less than 1:32, so a lot of these are. Having said that, I've started on the smaller scales now... Done: Hunter 1:32 - my first model ever! Ju88 1:32: Martlet 1:32: Lightning 1:32: Stuka 1:32: And the non 1:32's... Eurofighter 1:48 (PIRATE painted and running lights added since0: Eurofighter 1:144 (on page 2) Red Arrow 1:72 (test rig for Thought project 2): Still to finish (both only a few bits away): Hunter 1:32 (XE531) (just decals to do): Beaufighter 1:32* (rockets, exhausts and canopies in the post!): * This is my personal favourite of the year. To come in 2010: Eurofighter 1:32 (60% complete as of today) Thought project 2 Mustang 1:32 (dragon) + tons of AM detail. Part of a D-day montage Eurofighter 1:72 (to create the "set") Mosquito 1:32 Spitfire 1:32 (Tamiya) - Also part of a D-day Montage, and Thought project 1 Piper Super Cub 1:32 Swordfish 1:32 Lancaster mk III 1:72 (impulse, non 1:32 buy....) silverburn
Hmmm nice output, where do you display them all Currently under my coffee table! However, I'm looking at populating my stairwell with the best ones - I calculate it'll hold 33- 35 1:32's. More obviously if I can get the hang of 1:48. The trick will be hanging them (with mirrors) to allow best visibility. The red arrows (Thought project 2) will be hung in formation in the garage. The lightning has been given away.
