HP42
Hi all, I want to make this aircraft from the 1:72 Heller kit. I've got the kit in the stash but does anyone make decals for it? Here's the aircraft I want to model: http://www.airliners.net/photo/British%20E...DC-6A/1365320/L I gather G-APSA is a DC-6A whereas the Heller Kit is a DC-6B. What's the difference? I think the kit has passenger style doors whereas G-APSA has cargo doors. I guess I could just fill and rescribe as necessary? My other prefered option would be to model G-SIXC, another of Air Atlantique's aircraft. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Air-Atlanti...10e92607d04539d I know Hannants do a sheet for this aircraft https://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=FD2007 but it's a much older version of the livery and wouldn't quite do the job, I don't fancy trying to mask off and paint those cheatlines. Does anyone do decals for the later vession of G-SIXC? Failing that, is there anything else interesting in the DC6 decal line such as the French firebomber or the Red Bull (last resort) DC-6? ...questions, questions, thanks in advance. MODeller
The British Eagle option was avaliable from Cloudmaster Decals but for G-ARMY 1963. The sheet your are looking for is CMD 72009, try Colin at the decalbank. MODeller
