mikeew
Well, folks I finished this build yesterday. It was a struggle as its quite a basic kit OOB, and I added the xtratech interior and exterior sets to it to add some realism and much needed detail! I think it paid off though, especially in the small details like the cockpit interior and the access steps. Build threadcan be found here Overall paint is from a very old can of Humbrol 11 Silver, to give you an idea how old it is, its made by "The Humber Oil Company" no less, must be 30-40 yrs old . It thinned and sprayed with cellulose thinners like a dream, I guess its due to the lead and stuff in it that they aren't allowed to put in paints these days. Decals are from the kit applied with Klear under/over them. Aerial wire is Aeroclub rigging thread. Any questions, please ask. All commenst and critiques welcomed , as always . dswoofie
Very nice Mike, a real eye catcher! That Silver has come out great, as you say it must be all the goodies in it that's helped it! Karl.
