AdriaN (MLT)
Chopped back wings to drop the elevators See those small gaps between the fusalage and wings? The panels that are to be placed there DO NOT fit well and require trimming and filling..alot of it! so dry fit before glueing. LOADS of filler and sanding! AdriaN (MLT)
Scratch building time! I lost the second engine holder and had to re-build one out of cardboard! All what i did was trace the other one, cut it out, and bend it into its shape. Paint it and it will look like nothing went wrong Engine A bit too heavy on chipped paint huh? Gave the pilot moveble hands! Edited December 22, 2009 by AdriaN (MLT)

ollieholmes
Excuse my ignorance but, cowlings? those 3 little air intakes? The 3 lumps of plastic that sit each side of the engine and on top.
AdriaN (MLT)
The 3 lumps of plastic that sit each side of the engine and on top. Ooh the engine panels! I left them loose. I leave them runing around the aircraft when engine is open. When i want to close it up i use blue tack but the top one sits freely. Though i must abmit they do not fit well!!
