Tony Whittingham
Hello All, Here is my submission to the KUTA build. An Avro Lincoln B2/3G! I propose to finish it in the far east scheme, as if it was the Canadian contribution to Tiger force. It is a combination of 2 Airfix Dambuster Lancs, one of which gave up its main landing gear for a greater good ( Shackleton), with the DB resin nose and Paragon engines. It has been underway for 10 years at least. I was missing 2 of the prop blades There is a lot of details left to add. It will have to wait till I return from Barbados. remember, this is an early B.XV. What if. Tony Whittingham
Got it done! I cobbled together some 419 sqn. markings to commemorate Andy Mynarski VC. It is Oct. 1945. The A-bomb is delayed. No.6 Group RCAF has re-equipped with Lincoln B15's. One of the first production goes to 419 Sqn. in whose hands it becomes A-Andy Edited January 9, 2010 by Tony Whittingham
