Graham
Hi guys I was in Wonderland Models this afternoon here in Edinburgh and they had a box full of Tamiya Spits but the sad news is they were all spoken for so there were none available for over the counter sale Sould have pre ordered one Graham. Jennings Heilig
That's okay. It's really not that good a kit anyway... J
Av8fan
My LHS had many pre orders. They received roughly half IIRC. I saw one sealed box kit that was waiting to be picked up by it's owner. I just looked at the box without picking it up. Even the box looks good. Sheesh. Well, My mosquito will be along eventually, and by then the Spitfire will be readily available. That will give me a chance to save up or hopefully I get a tax refund this year.

Miggers
My Mrs asked what I wanted for Christmas . I said a new Tamiya IX. It appears she mis-heard me though,it's the new Airfix IX she's sent to Santa for me :shithappens:
Bear13583
I was in wonderland too but got the impression that only half were spoken for, got a wee peek in the box and I have never wanted £100 more in my life! Little magnets to hold the cowling's on is genius!

wrbrdmech
Wow! All this excitement over a plastic model kit....you'd think it was a Wonka Bar! lol. Actually I have my Tamiya Spitfire and it's waayyy better than a Wonka Bar with a golden ticket. I was absolutely amazed at the detail while I assembled the Rolls Royce Merlin...the only thing missing is a few oil drips and the smell of avgas. Smiffy
Graham at Relish has got a couple left @ £84.99. I've just ordered one as a prezzie to myself.
Work In Progress
Graham at Relish has got a couple left @ £84.99.I've just ordered one as a prezzie to myself. So have I. "Man maths" in action. I persuaded myself that with VAT going up on Jan 1, I should act now... Amazing how one can post-rationalise these things
